Summary

In this Engle progeny tobacco litigation proceeding, plaintiff Shirley Baker (personal representative of the estate of Perry Baker) alleged R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co of fraudulent concealment of dangers of smoking cigarettes manufactured by the company, which got her husband Perry Baker to get addicted to smoking at an early age and also alleged the company of being liable for manufacturing defective cigarettes which resulted in Perry Baker’s Death due to lung cancer in 1993.

The plaintiff was represented by attorneys Harry Shevin and Sean Domnick. The defendant in this case, R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co was represented by attorneys Mark Belasic and Dennis Murphy.
