Summary

In this Engle progeny tobacco litigation proceeding, plaintiff John Campbell (personal representative of the estate of Judy Campbell) alleged RJ Reynolds and Philip Morris Tobacco Co of fraudulent concealment of dangers of smoking cigarettes manufactured by the companies which led his wife Judy Campbell to get addicted to smoking and of being liable of manufacturing defecting cigarettes which resulted in Mrs. Campbell’s death due to Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
The plaintiff was represented by attorneys William Wichmann and Mark Millard. The defense in this case comprised of RJ Reynolds and Philip Morris Tobacco Co. RJ Reynolds was represented by attorney Kurt Weaver, Philip Morris Tobacco Co was represented by attorney Walter Cofer.
