Summary

In this wrongful death suit, plaintiff Virginia Chapman claims defendant, Dr. Snehal Parikh, was negligent in his care of 15-year-old Hailey Chapman, which ultimately led to her death. Plaintiff claimed that, if Parikh had completed a CT scan, he would have discovered Hailey suffered from intestinal thrombosis before the condition became fatal. Defendant argued that Hailey showed no signs of intestinal thrombosis until immediately prior to her death.
