Summary

In this medical malpractice litigation proceeding, plaintiff Tom Cicatello alleged Charles Walton M.D. and Ripplinger and Jones Southern NV Surgery Specialists of being negligent while performing a routine laparoscopic appendectomy on his daughter Amanda Cicatello, due to which Amanda’s aorta got perforated. Plaintiff’s counsels claimed that Dr. Walton deviated from standard of care by using a lesser used procedure while performing the surgery.

The plaintiff was represented by attorney Peter Wetherall. The defendant in this case, Charles Watson was represented by attorney V. Andrew Cass.
