In this transportation negligence litigation proceeding, plaintiff Cynthia Cameron and other joining plaintiffs alleged Union Pacific Rail of being negligent in not ensuring safety of people inhabiting near its railroad tracks by not monitoring whether life saving training is occurring at schools adjacent to its railroad tracks and of not erecting a safety fence near the middle school where her son Matt studied, due to which a train ran over Matt and caused him serious and permanent injuries.

The plaintiff and other joining plaintiffs were represented by attorneys Cal Potter and Treva Hearne. The defendant in this case, Union Pacific Rail was represented by attorneys Kent Hansen and Douglas Rands.
