Hearing
01/17/13 – 01/17/13

Summary

The City and County of San Francisco made public genitalia area nudity illegal unless the person is under 5 or participating in a permitted event. Plaintiffs, who use their nudity as a form of free speech, claim that the new ordinance infringes on their First Amendment rights and disregards the Equal Protection Clause. As such, they are petitioning that the ordinance be declared unconstitutional and allow for a temporary restraining order and permanent injunction.
