Summary

In this Mergers and Acquisitions class-action litigation Injunction hearing, plaintiff Michael Steinhardt and other shareholders plaintiff alleged Occam NetworksÂ’ board of directors of possible breaches of fiduciary duty in the acquisition of Occam by Calix Inc and sought to enjoin the merger between the two companies.

The plaintiff was represented by attorney David Jenkins. The defendant in this case, Robert Howard-Anderson was represented by attorney Jerome Birn.

Last month, Calix announced it had acquired access technology rival Occam for $171 million, picking up Occam's Ethernet expertise in particular to accelerate its opportunities in that growing area, Calix officials said."
