Summary

In this pharmaceutical product liability litigation bellwether jury trial proceedings, plaintiffs Robert Beare and Paul Gaffney alleged Johnson and Johnson of fraudulent concealment of the side effects of its antibiotic drug ‘Levaquin’ and of being liable of manufacturing the defective drug which caused the plaintiffs to suffer from Achilles-tendon injury after taking the antibiotic.

The plaintiffs were represented by attorneys Andres (Andy) Alonso, Raymond Silverman and Nicholas Warywoda. The defendant in this case Johnson and Johnson was represented by attorneys Christy Jones and Susan Sharko.
