Summary

In this Engle progeny tobacco litigation proceeding, Linda Cumbess (personal representative of the estate of Wayne Cumbess) alleged R.J. Reynolds tobacco co of fraudulent concealment of dangers of smoking cigarettes manufactured by the company, which led her husband Wayne Cumbess getting addicted to smoking at an early age and also alleged the company of being liable for manufacturing defective cigarettes which resulted in Mr. Cumbess’s death due to lung cancer in June 1997.
