Summary

In this Medical malpractice litigation proceeding, plaintiff Irma Olivera alleged Southlake Hospital of negligence in maintaining its premises due to which the plaintiff who was a visitor at the hospital, slipped and fell while exiting the hospital’s cafeteria and suffered knee and back injuries. The plaintiff had earlier claimed that she also suffered hip injury due to which she went for hip replacement but then reiterated that her hip replacement surgery were unrelated.

The plaintiff was represented by attorneys Laurence Trias and Joel Peidra. The defendant in this case, Southlake Hospital was represented by attorney Vance Dawson.
