Summary

In this Engle progeny tobacco litigation proceeding, plaintiff Norma Warrick (Personal representative of the estate of Eveline Warrick) alleged R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. of fraudulent concealment of dangers of smoking cigarettes manufactured by the company, which led Mrs. Eveline Warrick to get addicted to smoking at age 13 in 1949. The plaintiff also alleged the company of manufacturing defective cigarettes, which caused Mrs. Warrick chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in 1991, and she eventually quit smoking in 2001. Nonetheless, lung cancer was diagnosed in 2009, and Mrs. Warrick died in February, 2010.

The plaintiff was represented by attorney Robert Sheilds. The defendant in this case, R.J. Reynolds was represented by attorney Kenneth Reilly.
