Wiese et. al v. Legend Air Suspensions, Inc.

CONCLUDED

Oral Argument
08/17/12 – 08/17/12

Summary

The surviving family members of Lester Wiese maintain that a defective suspension kit for a motorcycle, sold by Legend Air Suspension, is what caused the motorcycle crash and death of Mr. Wiese. Legend denied the claim and argued that a third party, namely Reed Mapes and Ironworks Motorcycle, Inc, using the wrong bolts on the suspension system is what caused the death. Mapes claims the USDC of Iowa doesn't have jurisdiction over him because he has not association with Iowa.
